community OUTREACH

We are happy to come out to your school or organization and talk about roller derby with your students or group!

We can gear the presentation towards any age group and, if the space is available, we can also provide an on-skates demonstration of how the game is played that includes a brief demo of common penalties, skater positions, types of blocks, and how points are scored.

We’ll explain what derby is, how it was started in Lincoln, and how a small group of women were able to take a DIY (do-it-yourself) attitude along with community support to popularize roller derby right here in Lincoln, NE.

To set up a school or community demonstration, contact NoCoastRollerDerby@gmail.com
